These ancient Mayan artifacts were seen during several visits to Belize. Some were seen on display in the museum at Lamanai Mayan ruins while others were shown to us by residents from the area around San Victor and San Narciso. The items shown from the Lamanai museum are just a sample of the excellent displays in the new museum. Such artifacts are sometimes found by the residents which excavating for new buildings or other reasons. (Click on images to view larger images)
